PharmacoEconomics & Outcomes News 463 - 9 Oct 2004 ■ Eli Lilly has been awarded programme design certification for five disease management (DM) programmes by the US National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The certification provides third-party confirmation that a DM programme is welldesigned, effective and patient-friendly. Lilly’s DM programmes, which include four diabetes mellitus interventions and a comprehensive online healtheducation intervention, were reviewed primarily for their content and consistency with national practice guidelines.
