International Society for Reef Studies Advances in Reef Science
This year the Annual General Meeting will be held at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, Miami, USA, during a joint meeting of the Atlantic Reef Committee and the International Society for Reef Studies entitled "Advances in Reef Science". The meeting will be from Friday 26th - Sunday 28th October and there will be two one-day field trips before and after the three day symposium. The programme will include plenary sessions with four invited lectures of general interest, followed by 20 minute technical presentations. Contributed papers and posters on all aspects of reef science and management will be considered for presentation. Topics of special interest will include: Holocene history of reef development Corals under stress Scientific background for managing reef resources Coral reproduction strategies Reef mapping
