Participants are invited to report on progress in their work. High temperatures and low rainfall influence potato growing in Israel. Therefore we particularly welcome (review) papers on physiological and genetic aspects of responses to drought and temperature. Field excursions are included in the program. A circular with additional information has been distributed among members of the Section. Non-members who may consider participating or presenting a paper are requested to contact the secretary of the section. Dr. J.
