Fliissiggas-- L6sungsmit tel Theoretische t3etrachtungen E s g i b t viele Gase, die sich verfliissigen lassen lind als geeignete L 6 s u n g s m i t t e l in T r ~ . n k v e r f a h , e n in B e t r a c h t k g m e n . Die m e i s t e n yon i h n e n s e h e i d e n a b e r aus K o s t e n g r i i n d e n oder wegen unzulfinglieher t h e r m o d y n a m i s c h e r E i g e n s c h a f t e n aus. D a s ideale Fltissiggas sollte folgende B e d i n g u n g e n erftillen. 1. Es sollte zu e i n e m a n n e h m b a r e n Preis in groI3en Mengen e r h g l t l i c h sein. 2. E s sollte ein g u t e s L 6 s u n g s m i t t e l fiir die zu v e r w e n d e n d e n H o l z s c h u t z m i t t e l sein. 3. Es soltte ein T e m p e r a t u r / D a m p f d r u c k - V e r h ~ t l t n i s besitzen, d a b die a n z u w e n d e n d e n Driicke i n n e r h a l b des normafen Druckbereiches bleiben k6nnen. 4. Seine latenf-e V e r d a m p f u n g s w / i r m e soltte so sein, d a b die im Holz infolge der "I'r~inkung v o r h a n d e n e \V~rlne geniigt, das l.C)sungsmittel v611ig zu v e r d a m p f e n . Aus der gr(~Bcn R e i h e der u n t e r s u c h t e n Gase k 6 n n e n n u r n - B u t a n oder i s o - B u t a n diese F o r d e r u n g e n erftillen. Sie sind auch die einzigen H i i s s i g g a s - L 6 s u n g s m i t t e I , die b i s l a n g in Volltr~ml~anlagen v e r w e n d e t w o r d e n sind. Bild 2

Ir t h e n a t , T r i - b u t y l z i n n o x i d u n d die v e r s c h i e d e n e n c h l o r i e r t e u l ( o h l e n w a s s e r s t o f f - I n s e k t i z i d e , wie H e x a c h l o r c y c l o h e x a n ( H C H ) k 6 n n e n s~imtlich in einer riir den H o l z s c h u t z ausr e i c h e n d e n i{onzentra.tion in fltissigem B u t a n gel6st werden. B e s t i m m t e H o l z s c h u t z m i t t e l , wie v o r aflem P e n t a c h l o r phenol, sind allerdings n i c h t geniigend in B u t a n 16slich. M a n k a n n diesem M a n g e l abhelfen, i n d e m geeignete Hilfs16sungsmiteel v e r w e n d e t werden, u m die b e n 6 t i g t e T r g n k k o n z e n t r a t i o n zu e r h a i t e n . [ s o p r o p y l a e t h e r ist z u m Beispiel ein geeignetes H i l f s l 6 s u n g s m i t t e l m i t n i e d r i g e m S i e d e p u n k t , das w/ihrend d e r P h a s e d e r D a m p f r i i c k g e w i n n u n g fast vollstSmdig m i t d e m fliissigen B u t a n z u r i i c k g e w o n n e n wird. P o l y g l y k o l m i t h o h e n Molekul lrgewicht s t e l l t ein geeign e t e s H i l f s l b s u n g s m i t t e l m i t h o h e l n S i e d e p u n k t dar, welches n a c h der Tr~inkung im Holz v e r b l e i b t . Beide sind schon in "I'rfi.nkanlagen ftir P e n t a c h l o r p h e n o l v e r w e n d e t worden. Der Vorteil eines H i ] f s l 6 s u n g s m i t t e l s m i t n i e d r i g e m S i e d e p u n k t liegt, infolge des h o h e n R t i c k g e w i n n u n g s g r a d e s , in den n i e d r i g e r e n K o s t e n . D e r Vorteil eines HilfsI6sungsm i t t e l s m i t h o h e m S i e d e p u n k t b e s t e h t dagegen darin, d a 6 die N e i g u n g y o n Pentachlorph_enol-Kristallen, sich auf d e r ()berflgche des Holzes w~thrend der V e r d a m p f u n g des 1.6sungsmittels a b z u l a g e r n , beseitigt wird. M a n h a t in Gro[~britannien 1.6sungen yon P e n t a c h l o r p h e n o l in P o l y g l y k o l u n d in fltissigem l~utai/ [PriifausschuB 1.
