13th North American Colloquium on Animal Cytogenetics and Gene Mapping. July 13^17, 2003
The previous meeting of this group was held two years ago at the University of California, Davis, and four years ago at the University of Minnesota. It is a sister meeting to one held in even-numbered years in Europe. (The 16th European Colloquium of Domestic Animals and Gene Mapping will be held in Jouy-en-Josas, France on July 6^8, 2004.) This year the meeting will be conducted at the Louisville Zoo in Louisville, KY. The conference participants will stay at the historic Seelbach Hotel in downtown Louisville. Accommodations are limited so participants are encouraged to register early to take advantage of the special hotel rate. Drs. Kurt Benirschke and Evan Eichler have accepted invitations to speak at the meeting. We hope to have one more invited speaker. In addition, leading scientists for animal cytogenetics and gene mapping will be participating and presenting their own research. For more information about the meeting visit the following website:
