Regulatory and Healthcare News US employers interested in at-work DM programmes Corporate medical directors of US employers are interested in having worksite disease management (OM) programmes and are willing to implement pharmaceutical companies' OM programmes, according to the results of a US survey reported by Disease Management News. The 145 corporate medical directors who responded to the survey indicated that they were most interested in worksite OM programmes for musculoskeletal disorders, followed by those for hypertension, depression and heart disease. Around 70% of respondents reported that they currently had programmes for musculoskeletal disorders, and another 12% reported that they were planning such programmes. Just over 80% of respondents said they were interested in future industry-sponsored OM and/or wellness programmes for their workplaces.
