POTATO QUALITY G R O W T H SYMPOSIUM TO BE H E L D AT ANNUAL M E E T I N G A Symposium on "Potato Quality, Industry Needs for Growth" will be held at the 72nd Annual Meeting of the Potato Association of America on July 24-28, 1988, at Fort Collins, Colorado. We are soliciting papers which deal with the quality problems that industry (both processed and fresh) face in their operations. Papers may be on problems or solutions to problems in the area of potato quality. Questions concerning the Symposium or related contributed papers may be directed to Lamont Anderson (P.O. M E E T I N G SECTION PHYSIOLOGY OF EAPR The Section Physiology will meet at Kiryat Anavim in Israel from May 29 to June 4, 1988. Dr. D. Levy from the Volcani Center is the local organizer. Participants are invited to report on progress in their work. High temperatures and low rainfall influence potato growing in Israel. Therefore we particularly welcome (review) papers on physiological and genetic aspects of responses to drought and temperature. Field excursions are included in the program. A circular with additional information has been distributed among members of the Section.
