In der technischen Praxis erseheinen solche Leinen in den Strahlr6hren, we sic eine tmstete Leuchtkraft und somit Fehlerhaftigkeit der Erzeugnisse verursachen. Die Existenz der rotierenden asymetrischen Gebilder wurde zum crstenmal systemajbisch in der Arbeit [2] verfolgt. Die Theorie dieser Erseheintmg -- abgeleitet in der Voraussetzung dal~ in Plasma wenig bewegliche negative Teilchen anwesend sind -- erwies die MSglichkeit einer gleiehm~igen langsamen Rotierung der regelm/~13igen Leinen in einem sehr engem Strom- und Druckintervall. Hiedurch wurde die ~rbereinstimmung mit [1] erreicht, we die gleichrn/i~ige Rotierung des regelmal~igen Gebildes bei Gleich- und Wechselentladungsstrem erwiescn wurde. Zum Ziel dieser Arbeit wurde die Darstellmlg yon Leinen in Laboratorinmsbedingungen. ]Die Experimente sind mit l~6hren versehiedener Durchmesser, L~inge und mit kalteD_ Elektroden in Form yon Diskus, Spitzen und R6hren durchgefiihrt worden. Die Grundf/illung der Rohre war eine Mischung yon Luft und Quecksilberd~mpfe, als Beimisehung
